Here are three different ways to measure your ring size. All three methods use our printable ring size chart. Be sure to double check that your printer prints the chart to scale using the scale checker in the bottom left corner of the ring size chart. If the scale does not match up with a standard ruler, uncheck any "Scale To Fit" checkboxes, and print the chart again. Tip: For a more accurate measurement, try using all 3 methods!

2. Most Accurate: String
A.
String - You will need...
For this method, you will need the ring size chart, a small piece of string, and a standard or metric ruler. Tip: For a more accurate measurement, use milimeters.
B.
Get a piece of string...
Get a small piece of string. Tip: For a more accurate measurement, use something that will not stretch, like dental floss.
C.
Wrap the piece of string around your finger...
Wrap the piece of string around the biggest part of your finger - generally your knuckle. Mark where the piece of string meets the other end of the string as shown in the picture.
D.
Measure the piece of string...
Measure the length of the string to determine the circumference of your finger.

3. Accurate - Circles
A.
For this one you will need...
For this method, you will need the ring size chart, and a ring.
B.
Place the ring over a circle...
Place the ring over the black circles, finding a circle that matches up with the inside part of the ring.
C.
Place the ring over the circle...
Make sure the ring fits on one of the circles so you can barely see the black. Tip: For a more accurate measurement, close one eye and look straight down at the ring.



4. Somewhat Accurate - Paper
A.
For this method, you will need...
For this method, you will need the ring size chart, and a pair of scizzors.
B.
Make a small slit in the paper sizer...
Start by cutting a slit along the black line on the paper sizer.
C.
Cut out the paper sizer...
Cut out the paper sizer completely along the black line.
D.
Put the end through the slit...
Place the pointed end of the paper sizer through the small slit.
E.
Measure your finger around the biggest part...
Put the paper sizer on the largest part of your finger to determine your ring size. Half sizes will fall between two numbers.



You might also consider...
Many large stores such as WalMart and Target have jewelry departments that will be able to accurately measure your finger with a metal ring sizer.
